Overview

Musikgarten is a sequential and comprehensive music learning curriculum which fosters children's love of music and understanding of the musical language through age-appropriate multi-sensory activities. Each class is filled with opportunities for children to:

         Explore their creativity
         Express themselves
         Practice various skills such as listening, problem solving, language,
         teamwork, gross & fine motor coordination, and music playing.

Fundamental musical concepts such as tonal and rhythmic patterns, dynamics, pitch, and tempo are repeatedly taught throughout the curriculum using a wide variety of folk and classical music repertoire, which will prepare children for more advanced musical instructions in the later years.

Previous research has shown that positive emotions experienced during the learning process maximizes our memory and acquisition of new skills. Musikgarten provides fun and nurturing learning environment where parents and children bond through joy of making music together. Such positive experiences will nurture love of music and self-esteem in children that will last a life time.
